Aussie Bushwalking->Facebook integration is finally up. Now you can have Aussie Bushwalking post straight to facebook when you tick off a walk. Just go to "My Profile"->"Connect to Facebook" and follow the instructions.

Well it's taken awhile, but the next phase of the Aussie Bushwalking->Facebook integration is finally live. It's been a busy time at ABW Headquarters (AKA my home) but I've been working on it bit by bit over the last couple of months.

This new feature lets you have ABW post directly to your Facebook wall when you tick off a walk. So you end up with something like this:

ABW->Facebook Wall Post

You can connect your ABW to Facebook from your profile page. Just select "My Profile" from the top menu then "Connect to Facebook" from the left hand menu and follow the instructions.

This feature was the most popular on our feedback site. Now it's time to move onto something else. Head over there now and add your own ideas now!

Turns out there were a couple of bugs in the initial release, but they've been fixed so posting to Facebook should be working for everyone now.

I absolutely love Camping and Hiking in this beautiful country of ours.
So much to see and do in this wonderful land of varying landscapes.
My last hike about 2 weeks ago was up Mt Mitchell @ Cunninghams Gap.
Took some nice pics at the summit and enjoyed the views whilst having smoko.
Another great trip in the Australian Bush - can't wait for Mt Maroon.
